Building the Little Green Vardo
This is a brief overview of my home-built camping trailer. It uses both classic and modern building techniques and style. The design is an amalgam of showman, traveler, and “gypsy” wagons from Britain and France with some influence from sheep wagons from the western U.S. I kept the build to the absolute minimum in size and weight. Since I don’t live in it full-time it can be fairly small but I needed something that can serve for long-term travel or as a base camp for future adventures.
