Links that Inspire

These are some links I have used to inspire the Vardo construction project.

http://gypsywaggons.co.uk/

This is a great website for those interested in traditional English Waggons.  Great photos.

French roulottes.  A boxy version of the English Wagons.  Less built-ins but beautiful use of wood.

Real, traditional vans still made in the old way.

Daphne’s caravans.  Modern structures on modern frames.  Very inspiring and she even offers classes.

Nice looking, good photos.

These are big and look heavy but I like the layout.  A compromise between modern and traditional.

Amazing and wonderful woodwork here.

Big, nice, house-like.  More Roulottes.

Sheepwagons.  An American take on the Gypsy wagon.

And even fancier sheepwagons.

Restorations into real works of art.

And the English version of the sheep wagon.

Beautiful and artsy wagons.

There are more, but these are a good start.
